Youth Chinese Test (YCT)
Harris Federation recently trialled the YCT1 test with a group of Year 4 pupils who started learning Mandarin in Reception: 13 out of the 16 pupils passed. The cost was £5 per child/examination entry.

HSK
This may be suitable for Year 5 or Year 6 pupils with a relatively comfortable level of skill and confidence in Mandarin.
